UrbanFarm2021 Grand Finale

In order to make cities more sustainable and resilient, we have to reinvent our food systems from the scratch. But how can we best integrate architectural and technological innovations to produce food in urban environments? That’s the question of this year’s UrbanFarm student challenge which brings together students from across Europe to develop concepts for urban agriculture systems in Bologna, Naples and Romainville. During the contest’s Grand Finale, the interdisciplinary student teams will present their ideas to an expert jury and the audience which will together choose the best project in each of the target locations. The winning teams will be awarded with a monetary prize of 4’000 euros for a Toal jackpot of 12’000 euros.
