Project pilots

At the heart of FoodE are local, citizen-led communities that will identify success stories, and bridge these for knowledge exchange.

The duration of the FoodE will be 48 months, starting by 1st February 2020. Within FoodE, 16 pilot projects with local partners were launched in 12 European cities/regions: Naples, Bologna, Sabadell, Tenerife, Amsterdam, Lansingerland, Berlin, Oslo, Longyearbyen, Romainville, Iasi and Ljubljana.

The pilot projects showcase promising socio-environmental case studies, spanning over rooftop farming, urban agriculture.
